On-Page SEO optimization is optimization of the web-page with the help of specific keywords. There is a set of technique that can be used for On-Page optimization for ecommerce purposes. Here’s few rules for streamlining the work.
1. URLs and Keywords
So far, these two were never linked but for On-Page SEO, you must laden your URLs with accurate keywords, rather first word should start with specific keyword. This optimizes possibilities of being traced on different search engines and ranking also goes up.
2. Title of the Content
Content of the Page should have a title with a keyword. It increases your chance of getting located in the most organic way and Google also does not disqualify the webpage from its rankings.
3. Density & keyword
Mostly, content is either densely populated with keywords or has only few sparsely distributed. We have to strike a balance between the two and experts are of the opinion that 1.5% is the ideal usage of keyword in a content, and keywords should be presentin the first 100 words and towards the end, for improving chances of catching up with search engine rankings.
4. Adding Modifiers in the Title
Words as Guide, Best, Top, 2018, First etc are considered as Modifiers, when these are tagged with keywords, it definitely helps in scoring better at rankings.
5. Meta Tags
Meta keywords as well as Meta Tags, when included in the content, they ensure that click through rates or CTRs improve at various search engines. Ideally, it should not be more than 160 characters and must carry complete synopsis of the content of the post/page.
6. Images
On-Page SEO gets an impressive response when an image is added in the content and is aesthetically placed. It attracts visitors and keeps them engaged.
7. Responsive Pages
On-Page SEO optimization is definitely a success, if you have designed a responsive page. This means that your web page comfortably adapts to mobile or other screen sizes.
8. Outbound links
After several researches, it has been found that if your page has outbound links, then it is easy to discover and get connected and facilitates On-Page Optimization.
